My love affair with Border Collies started nearly 20 years ago when a friend would bring her female
Border Collie to work on weekends to play with my male Golden Retriever.  When I lost my Goldie to
old age I was introduced to Jacquie Marshall of
Clanheath Border Collies and my first Border Collie
Georgia
(Aust. Ch. Dancinvale by Design) who quickly became a lounge lizard.  At the time she was
promised that she'd never have to set foot in a ring again which explains why she always looked so
impressed when we had the hide to enter her in Veterans!

When Charlie found out that he had an extremely aggressive form of MND he allowed me to take Jake
(Aust. Ch. Kybota Kings High) who was Georgia's grandson and was looking for a new home.
What can I say, even Charlie joked about how many dogs I might end up with without him to control me!
It wasn't long before Jake's daughter
Charlotte (Clanheath Sweet Charlotte) moved in then Chance
(Aust. Ch. Clanheath Takea Chance), Jake's father, who bypassed me and moved straight onto my parents
lounge and
Connie (Clanheath Royal Design) who came for a visit and seems to have forgotten to go home.

I had a lot of fun with Walker (Clanheath Designa Knite)  while he stayed with me and we even
managed to clock up a few challenge points!  I have to admit that I was expecting my next challenge to be
presenting one of Walker & Connie's pups in the ring but with the sudden and unexpected loss of Georgia
it would seem that the challenge was going to be figuring out how life would work with her.

Some things are meant to be and a young man called Ziggy (Clanheath Cause A Riot) managed to worm
his way into my heart and although he was sold three times succeeded in what we suspect was his plan
all along and moved in.  This love affair has also seen me go from taking the odd photos of my own/friends
dogs to spending more time taking photos than showing!  For more info go to

To date we have bred two litters, the first was from Connie & Walker, a very handsome young man named Bowie (Dragonsmir Celtic Way) pictured far left was the first born, loves life, especially herding, and is also shown by his owner Tim Lumley.  Our second litter was from Connie & Stormy, literally a lit, the sole pup |was Velvet (Dragonsmir Velvet Rose) who is currently finding her feet (or should I say legs) in the show ring.
